Introduction

Customer Due Diligence Services (CDD) are the procedures or processes used by financial organizations by performing background checks on customers to gather and assess relevant information about a customer or potential customer prior to dealing with them.

When conducting CDD, reporting institutions are required to:

1. Identify the customer and verify that customer’s identity using reliable, independent source documents, data or information;

2. Verify that any person acting on behalf of the customer is so authorised, and identify and verify the identity of that person;

3. Identify the beneficial owner and take reasonable measures to verify their identity, using relevant information or data obtained from a reliable source, to the satisfaction of the reporting institution; and

4. Understand and obtain information where necessary on the purpose and intended nature of the business relationship.

Pre-requisites

Login to ACDD is required prior to sending any service request.

Due Diligence on a Person

Check a Person

1	Startup	MyXaaS	Startup submits request to check whether to admit a Person as customer in accordance to the stipulated CDD rules.
2	MyXaaS	Startup	MyXaaS sends response with recommendation on whether to accept the Person as customer, the evaluation of CDD rules which led to the recommendation and whether there are any negative reference reports used in the evaluation is available for retrieval.

Retrieve a Person's Result
