Payment Request
Merchants are restricted from sending an excessive number of requests from the same IP address in production system.
If the pre-set limit is exceeded, the merchant will be blocked from sending any new requests for the a duration of 1 minute. The blocking time will be extended by another 1 minute for each subsequent attempt.
Reversal Payment
The QR reversal payment function (also referred to as Void) is available for DuitNow and Alipay+.
- This reversal function is not mandatory.
- Nevertheless, the refunds would still be subjected to chargeback fees.
One of the most common practices is to manually refund customers, should any dispute gets raised. An example of this would be to have customers sign the transaction receipt upon receiving the refund. Merchants may opt for any suitable use cases.
If merchant did not test this function in the Sandbox environment, any void requests sent in production may lead to the potential risk of sending the wrong message to PayMaster.
Ensure that the QR payload has all +
symbols removed before generating the QR code, to prevent any potential encoding issues.
