Static QR Payment

The utilization of static QR codes for payments is widespread, especially in business and retail environments. Let's explore an instance illustrating how a static QR code could be employed:

DuitNow QR Payment Process

Step 1 : Print or Display the DuitNow QR Code

Merchant prints out the static QR code and displays it prominently at the checkout counter. Alternatively, merchant may also display it electronically on a dedicated payment terminal.


Step 2 : Customer Purchase

Customer selects the items he / she wants to buy and brings them to the checkout counter.

Step 3 : Customer Scans QR Code

Customer initiates the payment process by scanning the static QR code using his / her mobile payment app.

Step 4 : Payment Authorization

Customer's payment app prompts customer to enter the payment amount and subsequently confirms the transaction. Additional authentication measures, such as a PIN, fingerprint, or password, may be prompted if deemed necessary.

Step 5 : Payment Confirmation

Upon successful completion of the transaction, the merchant will be notified of the payment confirmation and will proceed with the subsequent steps.
